Privacy Policy

Weaver Nest Education (“Weaver Nest”, “we”, “us”) operates a student information portal at portal.weavernestpath.com and the Weaver Nest mobile app (together, the “Service”). The Service is used by students, teachers, and administrators of our educational program. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and role (student, teacher, or administrator). There is no public sign-up — accounts are created by program administrators.
- Academic information: class enrollments, schedules, attendance, progress notes written by teachers, and student profile details such as school, grade level, test scores, activities, competitions, courses, and transcript entries.
- Parent/guardian contact information provided to the program as part of a student’s profile.
- Device information: if you enable push notifications in the mobile app, we store a push notification token for your device.
- Log data: standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) kept for security and reliability, and an audit trail of changes to student records.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: schedules, class reminders, progress notes, and profiles.
- To send sign-in emails and, if enabled, push notifications about your classes.
- To administer the educational program and keep records accurate and secure.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising of any kind.
How information is shared
Information is visible inside the Service on a role basis: students see their own records, teachers see the students assigned to them, and administrators manage the program. We share data only with the service providers that run our infrastructure — hosting (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), transactional email (Brevo), and push notification delivery (Expo, Apple, Google) — each acting on our instructions, and with authorities when required by law.
Children’s privacy
The Service is used by students of our educational program, including minors. Accounts are created only by program administrators as part of the student’s enrollment, with the consent of a parent or guardian where required. We collect only the information needed to operate the program.
Data retention & your choices
- We keep records for as long as the student participates in the program.
- Students can review and update their profile in the portal or app at any time.
- Push notifications are optional — you can decline the permission or turn them off in your device settings at any time.
- To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, contact your program administrator or email us at the address below.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Sign-in uses one-time email codes/links or a password; mobile sessions are stored in the device’s secure keychain. Access to student records is restricted by role, and administrative changes are audit-logged.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and change the effective date above.
